In Formula Student, the business plan shows that the teams not only have engineering skills, but also business know-how and can present a business idea to potential investors, backed up with figures and details on financing and feasibility.
In a 10-minute pitch, the IRTe can impressively present the developed idea to the judges. You will also travel with us to a one-week racing event (e.g. at the Hockenheimring in Germany or the Autodrom Most in the Czech Republic).
Why the IRTe?
The fascination of motorsport: that's what drives us. We develop a new formula car every year. Designed, constructed, marketed and, of course, driven by ourselves.
This requires a strong team - our team. We are convinced that we will not only develop professionally, but that we will also surpass ourselves personally.
Additionally, we offer e.g. semester projects that reward ECTS - another good argument for joining!
What's your job as a business planner?
A new business model for participation in the event is to be designed and developed for the 2024/2025 season.
The business model must differ significantly from past ideas (including non-IRTe).
Idea generation (e.g. creative methods, surveys, interviews, etc.)
Elaboration of ideas
Preparation of an executive summary
Elaboration using a method for business model development
Preparation of a presentation (10-minute pitch)
What's your profile?
You should have an interest in motorsport and good communication skills. It is also important that you work on your own initiative and independently contribute and implement new ideas.
You can present yourself and your idea well.
You are fluent in written and spoken German and English.
Knowledge of strategic business planning or innovation management is ideal.
