Sponsorship management in motorsport is the key to creating strong partnerships that drive success on and off the racetrack. It connects brands with the fascination and dynamics of motorsport and offers the opportunity to create unique experiences and sustainable added value.
In Formula Student in particular, strong partnerships generate not only opportunities for financial or material support, but also the basis for on-the-job learning: it is not uncommon for team members to gain direct access in the application process for later employment.
Why the IRTe?
The fascination of motorsport: that's what drives us. We develop a new formula car every year. Designed, constructed, marketed and, of course, driven by ourselves.
This requires a strong team - our team. We are convinced that we will not only develop professionally, but that we will also surpass ourselves personally.
There are also credits for semester projects in IRTe, for example - another good reason to become a member!
What's your job?
Each technical sub-team is assigned a contact person from the sponsoring team. You will be responsible for supporting one of these sub-teams. You will also be responsible for acquiring new sponsors and maintaining existing sponsors from this sub-team.
Put simply, you bring together the technical requirements for material & production capacity from the sub-teams and realize these requirements.
What's your profile?
You should have an interest in motorsport and good communication skills. It is also important that you work on your own initiative and independently contribute and implement new ideas.
A conscious and professional appearance when presenting yourself to the outside world is also a must. You are charismatic and open-minded when dealing with new people. You don't need any specialist knowledge - but you should have an interest in the materials and processes for the specialist area.
